Who are you and where are you from?
I am Jaret Sweatt I am an intern for Peach State Roofing. This is now my fourth year working here. I was born in Lawrenceville, GA and then moved up to Braselton when I was in the 3rd grade.
Where do you attend college currently?
I currently attend The University of North Georgia at the Gainesville Campus.
What are you majoring in and what do you possibly plan to do after graduating?
I am majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing. As of right now I have no idea what I plan on doing after I graduate, but I do intend to apply here for a job.
What are you doing at Peach State Roofing this summer? Is this your first summer on staff?
This summer I am working on expanding a branch of the company by getting Peach State Roofing’s name out into the market of Retirement Homes and Apartment Complexes. This is now my fourth summer on staff here at Peach State Roofing.
What are some things you like about working at Peach State Roofing?
I love the atmosphere that we have with the coworkers. We all get to know each other right off the bat. I also love that there is a lot of room for personal achievement that you can take advantage of.
What has been something you have learned in your time on staff that you think is helpful in general?
Mainly from the beginning back to when I was working in the metal shop it has been problem solving. Because out in the real world no one is there to help you along and hold your hand you must figure things out yourself.
Who is your favorite sports team?
My favorite sports teams professionally are the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Atlanta Braves. Collegiate are between The Ohio State University and the University of Georgia.
What do you enjoy doing when not in school and not working?
I enjoy watching or listening to baseball games, playing pool, relaxing and listening to music, as well as going to the beach, lake, or neighborhood pool.
