Last month, Peach State Roofing Inc, corporately based out of Lawrenceville GA (suburb of Atlanta, GA), sent a team of project managers, regional managers and account representatives to the 2019 International Roofing Expo (IRE) which was held at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
PSR personnel felt the show was one of the most attended in years. Many different vendors were on display from single ply roofing manufacturers, asphalt/bitumen roofing manufacturers, equipment suppliers and many different accessory manufacturers and suppliers.
It was topic for Peach State Roofing in its ongoing pursuit of training its personnel to challenge its representatives at the show to visit booth spaces of products and services that are not “common place” practices of Peach State Roofing . The concept was to force PSR attendees to learn new areas and construction practices in the roofing industry. A couple key areas that Peach State Roofing spent extra time learning on via booth visits was in the areas of asphalt shingle roofing, solar energy products and commercial grade roof coatings.
Currently the main business focus of Peach State Roofing is in the installation and servicing of single ply roof systems such as TPO, EPDM, PVC and KEE products. PSR does perform roofing coatings, shingle installations and service other commercial roof systems such as BUR and modified bitumen roofs however the key focus and product desired by customers has been single ply roof systems.
Overall, the show was a great success for all of Peach State Roofing employees who attended. Several days of great learning and training were spent there and felt that the show was a great success! PSR management stated to others at the IRE show who were on staff that it remains PSR’s desire to continually provide quality and on-going training of its employees and PSR will look to continue to send representatives to the International Roofing Expo at next years display in Dallas, Texas.
